The History Of NOA NOA
The NOA NOA clothing brand was found by Harald Holstein in 1981. The motivation was a reaction towards the uniform like fashion that dominated the 1980’s . In 1982, the first NOA NOA shop opened in the old quarter Elsinore, Denmark.
Soon, thereafter, his brother Lars Holstein went into business and together they both developed the brand we know today as NOA NOA, one of the most fashionable brands in Denmark.
In 2003, NOA NOA minature, a clothing collection for specifically for children was launched by the brothers.
In 2007, 70% of the Company was sold to a private equity fund called Axcel. Both Harald and Lars are still involved in the daily opertations of the company.
